At Total Vision and Hearing your safety and well-being is our main priority. We are following Federal, Provincial, and Municipal protocols to help stop the spread of COVID-19. What to expect on your next appointment:
Booking an Appointment:
- Call in first to make an appointment (905) 648-2208
- All patients will be screened for COVID-19 in addition to completing a questionnaire outlining your concerns regarding your vision for the eye exam through a link online or by text
- A temperature check will be done in office prior to your eye exam
- If you are ill please stay home and contact your family doctor. We will reschedule your appointment
Upon your arrival to the Clinic:
- All patients and essential companions must wear a face mask that covers your mouth and nose before entering the clinic. One will be provided if you do not have one
- We respectfully ask that all companions, unless they are essential, to wait outside the clinic
- Utilize hand sanitizer station at clinic entrance before proceeding to front desk
- 2 meter social distance at all times between patients
- Plexiglass shields between front desk and patients
- All eyeglass frames in dispensary are disinfected before use with the next patient in an ultrasonic machine with soap and water
- High touch surfaces are disinfected frequently with Lysol wipes
- All staff and optometrists will be wearing personal protective equipment
During Eye Exam:
- Exam room and equipment is thoroughly sanitized between patients with 70% isopropyl alcohol, 3% hydrogen peroxide, and Lysol wipes
- Slit lamp and Phoropter breath guards are in place
